Our company has been selected as one of the ten finalists for Season 3 of ‘AICHI NEXT UNICORN LEAGUE,’ a business plan contest organized by Aichi Prefecture aiming to create unicorn companies. This season focuses on “Business Plans Targeting Global Markets.”
The final evaluation, featuring pitches from all ten finalists, will be held on February 6, 2025, at STATION Ai. During this event, a winning business plan will be awarded a prize of 10 million yen.
On December 9, 2024, CIC Tokyo hosted the event “Transforming Towards Sustainable Business: Exploring the Potential of the Circular Economy” at “STATION Ai,” Japan’s largest open innovation facility.
During the event, our CEO, Isesaki, presented a pitch showcasing our initiatives to manufacture and sell plant-based interior spaces made from plant waste.
The 4th Gifu Tech Plan Grand Prix, organized by Gifu Tech Planter, was held on November 30.
This initiative aims to build a sustainable industrial ecosystem by discovering and nurturing researchers and technology venture companies centered in Gifu Prefecture.
During the event, finalists delivered their presentations, and our company was honored with both the “Mizuho Bank Prize” and the “Nagatora Spinning Prize.”
The final selection for the CNB Venture Award 2024, organized by the Chubu New Business Council, was held on November 26. Our company was honored with the Nagoya Chamber of Commerce and Industry President’s Prize.
During the selection event, representatives from five finalist companies delivered presentations, and after careful evaluation, we were chosen to receive this prestigious award.

Our demonstration project began on October 30 at the first floor of Gifu Media Cosmos and at Gifu City Hall.
This trial aims to gather data on demand, durability, and usability by displaying 3D-printed furniture, including desks, chairs, and shelves.

Japan’s largest open innovation facility, “STATION Ai,” recently opened in Nagoya.
Ahead of the opening, on October 30, Chukyo TV aired an exclusive report featuring our products and initiatives. Our representative also shared insights on our reasons for joining STATION Ai and our future outlook.
The global luxury group Kering, which includes brands like GUCCI and SAINT LAURENT, launched the “Kering Generation Award Japan” in March this year in collaboration with the CIC Institute.
This program aims to discover innovations that have a positive impact on the environment and society. Among over 120 startups and researchers, Spacewasp has been selected as one of the top 11 companies.
The top 11 finalists will undergo the final evaluation during the “Finalist Pitch” event, which will be held on November 8, 2024. The top three companies, including the Grand Prize winner, will be announced at this event.
The Finalist Pitch will be available for online viewing (pre-registration required).
